Comments:
This was released on DIME via cassette transfer and for a 1994 recording its good! This must have been a higher generation as there is more hissing but this is one of the better recordings from the Self Destruct Tour.
UPDATE: This is the same DAT that was transferred a few years ago by FULLMETAL. He sent this over for me to transfer a few years ago and I finally got around to tracking all of this out. The initial transfer was good but the hiss was a little more noticeable and also there was some digital noise in a few of the tracks. This is a clean transfer and that’s why I would release a re-transfer. Still looking for a lower gen of this recording to get rid of some of the hiss as this is probably from a 2-3rd gen cassette to DAT. It really is a great recording.

Clogboy reached out to me earlier this fall to tell me that he had recorded a few Nine Inch Nails shows in the past. He sent me over CDR copies straight from his DAT masters. This is an uncirculated Amsterdam 1994 tape. Or at least I did not have it on the archive. This is considered Source 2 on the archive. I ripped the CDs and found some of the tracks to be slightly mistracked. I also normalized the recording, as it was low on the transfer. This tape is not incomplete, but was riddled with glitches and digital scratching. It may be the DAT tape itself, or potentially the deck used in transfer. I hope one day I would be able to transfer these DATs myself. Clog said maybe one day! Running through another DAT deck may help the tape run smoothly. But for now, only a portion of the recording has been shared with me. I actually did have this recording from acc123456 as a Master DAT > Cassette (2), so this is a good upgrade!
