RITC Interview with Kevin and Sgan from the 2009 Paris, Zenith DVD:The interview is done by Kevin Rinaldy and Sgan. Both of these guys are the ones that are bringing the first european multi-cam together for everyone to view. I am very excited to see the final product of this show as the quality is really good for some standard def shots (see youtube video below). This is not the final product, but they are getting near it. So enjoy!
Main Website: http://chez-sgan.com/ninparis2009/en/ Questions1. You certainly have a lot of sources for this edit, how much of these are quality shots (HD vs. Standard Def vs. digital camera vs. camcorder) and complete sources? We got a lot of different videos sent by 28 different people. Mostly standard definition and digital camera shots. But we got two or three HD angles. That’s why we can’t edit a hd version of this project (its 100% audience shot). But I think that we’ll include on the dvd one or two songs as a bonus only using the hd sources. There are only two of us working on the project. Sgan is working on video editing, dvd authoring, website and graphics. Kevin ‘Kercyx’ Rinaldy is managing the project, contacting all the people who is involved. To edit this project we use Adobe premiere pro CS3. Kevin: REALLY hard to choose but I think Somewhat Damaged is my favorite live song : it’s really different from the album version : the acapella intro, then drums come and everything is on fire…The most kicking ass intro ever in my opinion. Ruiner is fucking great too. My only regret is not to have heard “And all that could have been” live, that is the most beautiful/sad song wrote by Trent. Everyone stay tuned to RITC for the latest on this project! There is something to be announced in the coming week!
